Schedule Dataset 📮

  • Enable users to run dataset files so often to automate the process. The schedule dataset option is used to run your dataset.

What is Scheduling?​

  • Scheduling is defined as a process of allocating resources over time to perform a collection of tasks.

What is Dataset Scheduling?​

  • Datasets are run on a scheduled basis using tables that containing customer information. Most datasets are run on an hourly, daily, or weekly basis, through cron jobs that are added to a boss's crontab as part of the dataset rpm installation.

There are two methods to schedule the dataset:-

  • Time Scheduling is the art of planning your activities so that you can achieve your goals and priorities in the time you have available. It will be done in hourly, weekly or daily basis.

  • When the user wants to schedule their dataset, after some event is fired, then this type of scheduling comes into the picture. That are Events and tasks that are execute on a specified time and can be scheduled hence based trigger of an Events.
