Introduction

Request tab options can be used to see all notifications, messages,report request and Approval requests from system and OPNBI users. It also includes alerts and alert reports sub-sections where the user can create alerts of his choice and can be able to see the reports of alerts once the alerts are scheduled.

Request are generated by system when user schedule reports, datasets, adhoc reports and many other scheduling types. User can track the status of scheduling request from request Sub-section under request section. If we talk about user generated notifications or Alerts, they will generated when one internal users from OPNBI send some message or you get approval request for some scheduling job. this user generated notifications can be seen in Notification Sub-section under Requests section.

Let's Go through Sub-section avaialble in Requests section one by one;

Request Section contains following Sub-section:

1. Notifications

Logged in user gets notifications for the events triggred by other internal OPNBI users. this event can be instant message, approval requests and scheduling alerts.Notificaiton is a sub section of Requests section. you can reach to this sub-section by opening context menu from hemberger icon and navigate to requests section. The very first option here is notification. User can get the notification alert only if Alerts functionality is enabled in OPNBI. If not, user has to check the notifications by visiting notification sub-section on regular basis. you will learn how to configure alerts for incomming notification. Also there is option where user can check the notifications of other user by switching to other user.

2. Requests

Requests section is a way to track all scheduling requets from one point. When a scheduling request is executed by any user, request is executed or not that can be tracked from this section. this section has four tabs, named as Schedule, Waiting for Event, Running and Completed. In case of future requests, you can find them in schedule tab. schedule by event request can be found in waiting for event request. executing requests can be found in Running tab and requests executed or failed can be found in Completed tab.

3. Alerts

With DataSet Alerts, you can build flexible and powerful Alerts right on a DataSet.You can be Alerted based on multiple trigger rules. you will get alert when data of selected dataset matches with conditional rules applied.

4. Alert Reports

Once Alert is executed, user can find result of execution in Alert report sub section.
