Introduction

Widget Settings are properties by using of which user can change the appearance of widget. changing property is limited to that widget. Using this property we can improve look and feel of the dashboard.

Widget Settings following options :

Widget Refresh Settings

To set up Widget refresh time. On specified time, only that widget will be refreshed and load with new data.

Widget Box Shadow

Used to apply shadow effect for selected widget.

By Default when user enable this setting, red colored shadow will be displayed. user can change this color from properties.

Widget Border Properties

Used to apply border settings to selected widget. User can also define shadow effect on widget using this option.

Widget Icon Properties

This setting has master control of widget icons visibility in preview mode. user can enable and disable required icons in preview mode with this properties.

Widget Internal Area

Used to apply padding or blank space from the widget border

Title Properties

User can make customizations of widget title using this setting. Also widget title can be enabled and disabled from here.

Filter Properties

User can define filter related settings selected widget from this setting.

Dashboard Preview Options

Widget visibility for different views i.e. mobile, desktop and tablet can be controlled from here.

User can enable or disable linking between widgets using same dataset

Extra Label

In order to redirect from widget to some external link, extra label is used.

Socket

A socket is one endpoint of a two-way communication link between two programs running on the network. A socket is bound to a port number so that the TCP layer can identify the application that data is destined to be sent to.

Miscellaneous Properties

Miscellaneous Properties setting contains some out of the box functionality in OPNBI.
